ISSUES

Every community deserves thoughtful leadership that listens first, studies the facts, and acts with integrity.

As a lifelong Cherokee resident, veteran, and business owner, I have seen firsthand what makes our county strong: faith, family, hard work, and a commitment to doing what is right, even when it is not easy. Those same values guide me as I step forward to serve the people of House District 23.

I am a conservative who believes government should be limited, efficient, and accountable to the people it serves. Our state succeeds when families thrive, small businesses grow, and local communities are empowered to make their own decisions.

In this campaign, I will focus on policies that protect our freedoms, strengthen our economy, improve education, and keep Georgia the best state to live, work, and raise a family.

Taxes and Spending

Every tax dollar comes from a hardworking Georgia family or business, and it should be treated with care. I believe in a government that lives within its means and focuses on the basics—strong schools, safe communities, and reliable infrastructure.

My goal is to make Georgia even more competitive by working toward the elimination of the state income tax through responsible growth and smart budgeting. At the same time, I want to find practical ways to relieve the growing pressure of property taxes so families can keep more of what they earn and build their future right here at home.

Transportation

Cherokee County’s growth is a blessing, but traffic has become one of our greatest frustrations. The current patchwork of city and county plans is not enough. As your state representative, I will work to bring our local governments together under a single transportation vision.

A unified master plan will help improve flow, reduce commute times, and support responsible growth while preserving the quality of life that makes Cherokee County exceptional.

Small Business Freedom

Small businesses are the heart of our economy and the soul of our community. Yet government regulations, inconsistent permitting, and excessive red tape make it harder than ever to open or expand a business.

As a business owner myself, I understand these challenges firsthand. I will work to simplify rules, remove barriers, and ensure that entrepreneurs can thrive without government standing in their way.

Education

As a proud graduate of Cherokee County public schools and Georgia’s university system, I know the value of strong local education. I will continue supporting policies that give teachers the tools they need and ensure students have access to modern classrooms and technology.

Cherokee families already invest heavily in education, and I will advocate for fair funding that keeps more of our dollars working here at home instead of around the state.
