I am a Christian, husband, father, business owner, community servant, and Army Reservist who has dedicated my life to building and serving Cherokee County.
Married to my college sweetheart, Dr. Josephine Sagoo, a pediatric provider at Northside Cherokee Pediatrics, we’re the proud parents of two energetic young boys and enjoy spending Sunday mornings at Woodstock City Church.
As a lifelong resident of Cherokee County, I graduated from Woodstock High School, where I played sports, served in student government, and developed a passion for public service. My parents still live in my childhood home, close to Johnston Elementary.
After high school, I enlisted in the Army Reserves, learning discipline, accountability, and teamwork skills that continue to shape my leadership today.
I went on to earn a B.S. in Biology from the University of North Georgia, where I was active in Student Government.
Later, I completed two advanced degrees:
MBA in Finance – Emory University, Goizueta School of Business

I've built a successful career in the technology sector helping startups with investment, innovation, strategy and, growth.
Having spent over 5 years as a mergers and acquisitions specialist in the medical and financial technology sectors, I advised companies and investors on best practices and opportunities.
